Massimo Magliocco

 

 Massimo è stato il fondatore, il Presidente e il Direttore Tecnico della FFM – Casting Italia ed è uno dei pescatori a mosca di maggior talento in Italia. Massimo Magliocco (che è stato allievo di Roberto Pragliola), con i suoi 35 anni di esperienza è diventato un punto di riferimento del lancio e della pesca in Italia e all’estero. Ha collaborato e collabora ancora con alcune delle più importanti riviste di pesca italiani come Fly Fishing, Fly Line e Pescare. Ha scritto due libri “Torrenti & Dry Fly” che sta traducendo in inglese che è un libro sulla pesca a mosca secca nelle acque mosse e del quale ha prodotto anche una versione video in DVD e “Lungo le rive del fiume”, un libro autobiografico della sua vita di pescatore. Ha anche pubblicato altri video come: “La tecnica di lancio italiana” un vero e proprio manuale visivo di lancio, “I lanci specifici per il Fly Fishing” e “Lanci mosche e strategie”. Ha prodotto la versione inglese del DVD della tecnica di Lancio italiana – “The Italian style of casting” che è un grande successo tra i pescatori a mosca britannici e americani, così come “The specific casts”, sempre in lingua inglese. Oggi Massimo è un consulente tecnico per Aleka Sports di cui è anche Pro team Director, ha lavorato anche con Maxia Rods e Atomsix rods per i quali ha progettato varie attrezzature.

 Massimo has been the founder, the President and the Technical Director of FFM – Casting Italia and he is one of the most talented fly fishermen in Italy. Massimo Magliocco (who was a student of Roberto Pragliola), with his thirty-five years of experience has become a point of reference in fly casting and fishing in Italy and abroad. He collaborates with some of the most important Italian fishing magazines like Fly Fishing, Fly Line and Pescare. He has written two books called “Torrenti & Dry Fly” that is translating in English  a book on dry fly fishing in small streams which comes with a tuition DVD and “Lungo le rive del fiume”. He has also published other videos like: “The Italian casting technique” a real visual manual on casting; “Specific casts for Fly Fishing; and, “Casting, Flies and strategy. He has recently produced the English version of the DVD “La tecnica di Lancio italiana” – “The Italian style of Casting” that is very successful among British and american fly fishermen, as well as “The specific casts”, another DVD in English Language. Today Massimo is a technical consultant and marketing spokesperson for Aleka sports for which he is the Pro team Director, he also worked with Maxia Rods and the Atomsix rods for which he has designed various equipment.
